Bernard Vishnick, a senior partner in Capell Vishnick’s Litigation Practice group has significant experience in various areas of litigation, concentrating for many years in the Trusts and Estates area. Mr. Vishnick’s 38 years of extensive litigation background has involved Will contests, both for and against the probate of the Last Will and Testament, accounting proceedings, removal of fiduciary and other fiduciary related proceedings, discovery and turnover proceedings of Estate property, defense of and removal of Trustees of Trusts, rights of various parties to assets of or formally belonging to the decedent and a myriad of other litigation emanating out of or in connection with Trusts and Estates and other related Supreme Court matters. Mr. Vishnick has also acted as Executor and Trustee of significant Estates and Trusts.

Mr. Vishnick is well known in the professional community and continuously represents his colleagues, fellow attorneys who have needed his representation and experience for the protection of their individual interests and for representation of their clients with respect to complex litigation involving Trusts and Estates. Mr. Vishnick has represented both attorneys and litigants in various other States having been admitted to the Courts of each such State by special application.

Mr. Vishnick is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Queens County Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. He is presently the vice chair of the Grievance Committee and sits as a member of the Judiciary Committee of the Queens County Bar Association. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association Estates and Trusts Litigation Committee and the Supreme Court Committees for both the Nassau County and Queens County Bar Associations. Mr. Vishnick is also a member of the Trial Lawyers Association, is Vice President of Brandeis Lawyers Association, Flushing Lawyers Association and Great Neck Lawyers Association. Mr. Vishnick was recently appointed Chair of the Unlawful Practice Committee for the Queens County Bar Association. Mr. Vishnick has lectured before the Queens County Bar Association, various committees and sub-committees of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association Trusts and Estates Committee, the International Association of Financial Planners, the New York Attorneys Association and various major brokerage firms who are located throughout the United States and various parts of the world.

Mr. Vishnick graduated from New York University in 1962 and received his LLB from New York Law School in 1965.
