Joseph Trotti, a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP, specializes in the areas of matrimonial law and commercial litigation. Mr. Trotti’s practice areas include family and matrimonial law and commercial real estate litigation.

Prior to joining Vishnick McGovern Milizio LLP,  Mr. Trotti was in private practice and specialized in matrimonial law. He also has experience in real estate, landlord tenant, entertainment, criminal and estate law. He has tried cases in the Federal, Criminal, Supreme and Civil Courts throughout the State of New York.

Mr. Trotti is a member of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, the Queens County Bar Association, the Queens County Bar Association -Family Law Committee, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Latino Lawyers Bar Association, the Nassau County Columbian Lawyers Association and the Women’s Bar Association. Joseph is a member of the Forest Hills Gardens Board of Directors and, in addition, serves as the Legal Chair for the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation.

Mr. Trotti is active in both community and pro bono activities. He is a member of the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Pro Bono Panel as well as the Queens County Civil and Supreme Court Pro Bono panel. He is active in various charitable organizations, including the NY Families for Autistic Children, Artists on Wheels, the Multiple Sclerosis Fund Raising Committee and the Forest Hills Youth Association.

Mr. Trotti received his Juris Doctor in 1983 from St. John’s University School of Law. He received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Queens College in 1980.

Mr. Trotti is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
