PARTNER
Morris Sabbagh, a Partner in the Tax, Trusts and
Estates and Elder Law Practice Groups at Vishnick
McGovern Milizio, focuses on assisting families with the
preservation of wealth and administration of estates. He
works with high net worth individuals, and those with
more modest estates, to prevent the dissipation of their
assets to taxes and long term care expenses. Mr. Sabbagh
has expertise in gift, estate, and generation skipping
taxes, business succession, marital issues, creditor and
asset protection, and public benefits and elder law
issues. He assists clients with the implementation of
complex estate planning strategies as well as the
creation and administration of charitable foundations
and charitable planned giving vehicles. In addition, he
assists executors and trustees in the probate process
and administration of estates, as well as gift, estate
and income tax audits before the Internal Revenue
Service and the New York State Department of Taxation.

Mr. Sabbagh is a member of the New York State Bar
Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of
New York and the Nassau County Bar Association. He
serves as a member of the Elder Law and Trusts & Estates
Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association and
is also an active member of the Tax Law, Surrogates
Court, Estate & Trusts and Elder Law, Social Services
and Health Advocacy Committees of the Nassau County Bar
Association. Mr. Sabbagh is a member of the widely
recognized National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA)
and is among the founding members of the New York
Chapter of NAELA.
Mr. Sabbagh received his Juris Doctor from Yeshiva
University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1993,
where he was selected to participate in Cardozo’s
Surrogate’s Court Practicum. He received his Bachelor of
Science in finance, cum laude, from New York
University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business
Administration in 1990.
Mr. Sabbagh is admitted to practice law in the States of
New York and New Jersey.
