Andrew A. Kimler, Partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Vishnick McGovern Milizio, focuses in the areas of commercial, corporate and employment law, as well as matrimonial law. He represents individuals and businesses in Federal and State courts and before arbitration tribunals, and represented one of the former "Watergate" defendants in civil rights litigation.

An experienced litigator, Mr. Kimler handles complex contract, partnership and other business disputes. His employment cases have included wage and hour, discrimination, trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes.

Mr. Kimler serves as an arbitrator and lectures on various aspects of employment law, and was appointed to the panel of mediators in the Commercial Division of the State Supreme Court. A prolific writer, Mr. Kimler co-authored two volumes of "Criminal Defense Techniques" and has written about equitable distribution and matrimonial law for Matthew Bender, a leading publisher of legal research and information. He contributed to "Handling Juvenile Delinquency" and supplements for other F. Lee Bailey and Henry B. Rothblatt criminal law publications. Mr. Kimler has also written criminal law columns and other articles for the New York Law Journal. The Korean American Grocers Association appointed Mr. Kimler its "Special Legal Advisor". Mr. Kimler holds the highest (A-V) rating awarded for legal ability by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Kimler received his Juris Doctor in 1977 from Ohio Northern University where he was an Associate Editor for the Ohio Northern University Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1974, where he was awarded honors in political science and was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society.

Mr. Kimler is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the United States Supreme Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
